John Navarra graduated form St. John’s University College of Pharmacy.
Presently owns and operates Town Drug in New York City and is a partner with four other pharmacies in NYC and has an interest in a Management Company in Albany. Founder of Town Total Health in NYC, a company specializing in services and programs for health care professionals and their patients. Owned and operated 2 licensed home care agencies in NY as well as a full respiratory care service. Town Total health was very involved in the disease management arena at the time through its subsidiary Integrated Health Algorithms. Town Total Health was sold in 2012 and still exists.
John was a member of the NYS Board of Pharmacy for almost 20 years.
Presently Chairman of the Pharmacy Advisory Committee in Albany with the DOH. Member of the Value Base Committee in Albany during DSRIP.
Member of the NYCPS Board of Directors. He was past President of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (95-96). Was the first and founding President and of the NYCPS and held that position for 3 years. Member of the Long Island Pharmacists Society and Past President of the Italian American Pharmacists Society. John was the recipient of many awards including:

Received the Bowl of Hygea Award for outstanding community service 2007
